Adding a drink

Found a drink that isn't on the map yet? Add it in three steps — with a photo, a price and your first review.

Start

Sign in first. Then do one of:

• Press and hold anywhere on the map, at the venue's location.
• Tap the location button and choose Re-center & Add Drink.
• Open a venue and tap Add Item on its menu — the venue is then pre-selected.

The three steps

The wizard looks like a venue's page: the top shows the venue you picked — its name, type and street, in its type's colour (before you pick one, your location) — and the three steps sit under it as tabs. Tap a step you've already done to go back to it; ✕ at the top closes the wizard.

1. Venue — pick a nearby bar or store from the list, or choose Add New Bar / Store and enter its name; the new store is added to the map at the location you tapped. For a venue new to DrinksLooker — picked from the list or added by name — missing details (address, phone, website, description) are then filled in automatically where we can find them.
2. Drink — take or choose a photo (optional), enter the Drink Name, pick a Drink Type and enter the price. A description is optional. At a venue that's already on the map, the drinks it already has show up under the name as you type (Already on this menu, with their prices), and Next tells you when your drink looks like it's already here. Tap that drink to review it instead of adding a copy — or tap No, it’s a different drink to go on.
3. Review — rate the drink and write your comment, then tap Save Drink. If you picked a drink that was already there, you only add your review to it (Submit Review; Change goes back to adding a new drink) — and it can earn points for avoiding a duplicate.

Drinks you've added

Open the menu ☰ → My Stash → Added Drinks to see, edit or remove the drinks you've added.
